One room, 68 m², with a single rooflight cut into the slab above the counter. The shelving is the wall — 2.9 metres of birch ply on three sides, made by our own carpenter over five weeks.
The pharmacist wanted a shop that did not look like a shop. We removed the signage from the glass and put the name on the floor at the threshold instead.
The counter is a single piece of terrazzo, 3.2 metres long, cast on site because it would not go through the door.
It is the smallest project we have built and the one we are asked about most.
